Terms and Conditions – Client
Booking: Sessions must be booked at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance to ensure consultants’ availability and preparation.
Cancellations:
- If a session is canceled by the client at least 24 hours (one day) before its start, the client will receive a refund minus €1.00 for transaction costs.
- If a session is canceled within 24 hours of its start, no refund will be provided.
Email Address: It is the responsibility of the client to provide a correct email address to receive the session link. This email will be shared with MoreAbout and with the consultant.
Session Link: After booking a session, clients will receive a session link. If not received 24 hours after booking, please contact MoreAbout at [email protected].
Client Responsibilities:
- The client is responsible for checking if the appointment is in the correct/desired time zone. This should be verified when scheduling a meeting and when receiving the confirmation email with the session link and session time.
- The time zone shown when booking a session is taken from the client’s browser.
- If the scheduled time does not correspond to the desired time, the client must contact MoreAbout at least 24 hours (one day) before the session starts.
Consultant Issues: If a consultant does not attend a session, or if technical or behavioral issues hinder the session, clients must notify MoreAbout within 24 hours of the session’s end to receive a refund. Without notification, no refund will be given.
Ratings: Clients are encouraged to rate the consultant on our website after the session. Ratings are important for calculating the consultant’s average rating, which is displayed on the website.
Terms and Conditions – Consultant
Pricing: Consultants can freely set their session prices. MoreAbout retains 25% of the profit, and the remaining 75% is transferred to the consultant.
Profit Calculation: Profit is defined as the amount remaining after expenses. This includes deducting VAT (21% of the total session price) and a €0.50 transaction cost per session.
- For example, for a session with a total price of €100.00, the profit is €78.50 (€100.00 minus €21.00 VAT and €0.50 transaction cost). The consultant receives 75% of the profit, which is €58.87.
Payment: Payments are transferred to the consultant within 7 working days after a session. It is the responsibility of the consultant to provide MoreAbout with correct bank account details.
Privacy: Consultants’ account details will not be shared with clients or third parties.
Availability: Consultants must keep their availability updated on their Google Calendars. If a consultant cancels or does not show up for a session, a €1.00 fee will be deducted from their next payment.
Cancellations: Besides the €1.00 fee, cancellations may result in a low rating from clients.
Misbehavior: Reports of misbehavior can result in the consultant being banned from MoreAbout and not being paid for the session. If the consultant wishes to report any behavioral issues from the client, they are advised to do so preferably within 24 hours of the session’s end.
Absenteeism: Consultants absent from sessions may be banned from the website.
Session Confirmation: Only sessions confirmed by MoreAbout are valid. We are not responsible for unconfirmed sessions.
Technical Conditions: Consultants must ensure good technical conditions (stable internet connection, functioning microphones, and webcams, no interruptions) during sessions.
Acceptance: MoreAbout reserves the right to accept or deny consultants based on the accuracy and strength of provided information, demand in certain areas, and other criteria.
Information Accuracy: Consultants are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided in the enrollment form and during sessions.
Rescheduling Policy:
- Rescheduling a session is only possible if agreed between the consultant and the client at least 24 hours before the start of the session. The time of the new session can be requested to [email protected]. We will ask to the other party (consultant or client) about the possibility of changing the time of the session. If both parties agree on rescheduling it at least 24 hours before the original time of the session, rescheduling is free of cost.
Schedule Sharing and Hosting Sessions:
- It is the responsibility of the consultant to update their availability on the Google Calendar provided to MoreAbout.
- The consultant must ensure that their Google Calendar is set to the same time zone as provided to MoreAbout and notify MoreAbout if the time zone in the calendar settings changes.
- The consultant must log in with the same Google Account provided to MoreAbout when hosting a session.
