Given the various paths that can be taken when contemplating a career change, making a choice can be difficult. This can be especially difficult if we don’t know anyone who already works in the field we want to transition into.
The idea of approaching a stranger via LinkedIn to ask for advice is uncomfortable for some people. Some websites connect people to coaches, but this type of service requires a long-term commitment and, usually, multiple sessions.
Therefore, we thought that it would be nice to connect users to a professional in a faster and simpler way and to give them the option to schedule single 1:1 sessions. By developing such a tool, people could get clarity before making important choices. That is why we created More About in 2023.
